An Experience with Neti Pot for Cold & Flu

written on October 1, 2021

My effectiveness rating:
I found it to be very effective.

My experience:

It has always seemed logical to me that flushing the bad stuff out of your sinuses may help your body fight off a cold faster. I’ve always done it and I don’t usually have colds going beyond 5 days or so. I just use tap water with saline in the pot. Some people say to use distilled water but that seems like a pain.

Do you use the ceramic pot or plastic? Or one of those syringe thingies?
