Description |
| Bi-Directional Matching |
All matching is done bi-directionally.
For a match to occur, User A must match what User B is looking for, and also
User B must match what User A is looking for. This type of matching greatly
increases the quality of matches and helps protect against those who would
abuse the system. |
| Photo Uploading |
Users can add a picture (.gif or .jpg)
to their profile |
| Change Profile |
Editable profile forms include three
main sections
-
Personal Information about the user
-
Attributes and Interests of the user
-
What characteristics the user is looking for in a
match
The profile forms are very intuitive, and users need
only answer the questions that they want to answer. Users can modify their
profile and change their password whenever they choose. |
| Rate Profile Items |
Each characteristic that a user is
looking for can be rated on importance and desirability. In addition, users can
specify qualities that all matches must have, or qualities that matches cannot
have. |
| Match List |
The user's profile is compared with all
profiles, a percentage score is computed for every other user, and a list of
matches is generated, sorted according to score. When a new match is found, the
data is added to both users lists, so they both see the new match listed
immediately.
